US$420 Million Copper Ore Beneficiation Project

Recently, Cordoba Minerals announced that they have obtained a construction permit for the Alacran copper, gold and silver project in Colombia. The project will start in the second quarter of 2025. The construction of the entire project will include mining, mineral processing, smelting and other links, with an investment of up to US$420 million. The Alacran project is located in Cartagena Province in northern Colombia, about 300 kilometers from the capital Bogota. The Alacran region is rich in copper, gold, silver and other mineral resources, and has high development potential. The Alacran open-pit mine is listed by Colombia as the country’s largest copper mine.
