Installation and Commissioning of Ball Mills

Ball Mill Installation:

a) The installation plan is designed according to the user’s basic engineering, and should be installed according to the direction, location and space shown;

b) The lower plane of the fuselage should land steadily, and the levelness of the bottom plane of the cylinder after horizontal adjustment should not be more than 1.5/1000;

1. Installation

a) Remove foreign objects in the reserved hole of the foundation of the installation equipment, especially the inner wall of the hole shall not contain dust, oil, water and other liquids;

b) After unpacking the box, use the appropriate lifting facilities (crane/forklift) to move the main engine to the installation position;

c) Position the equipment, install the anchor bolts in the hole, put the random “live feet” on the anchor studs and weld them to the chassis of the frame, and then the secondary grouting can be carried out;

d) After installing the strength of the cement for 24 hours, the nut can be tightened and loaded into the test machine;

e) Access to the power supply;

f) Installation inspection to correct inadequacies;

g) The electrical cabinet is placed in the auxiliary computer room without installing the foot.

2. Test run:

After the installation of the ball mill is completed, after passing the inspection, the empty car test operation can be carried out, and the test operation of the ball mill should be carried out by a skilled ball mill operator, and strictly abide by the ball mill safety operation regulations.

(1) The continuous operation time of empty operation is not less than 12-24 hours, and problems found in operation should be solved in time.

(2) The load test operation can be carried out when the empty operation test machine is normal, and the load test operation should be carried out in stages, and the feeding should be carried out according to the discharge situation during the load operation to avoid unnecessary wear and damage of the steel ball and the cylinder liner.

a) Add appropriate materials and 1/3 of the number of steel balls (the maximum ball loading capacity is referred to the general picture of the ball mill) for trial operation for 12-24 hours.

b) Add to 2/3 of the number of steel balls and run for 24-48 hours.

c) According to the discharge of the ball mill and the output of qualified products, refer to the actual ball loading capacity of the ball mill of similar mineral processing plants, determine the reasonable ball loading capacity of the billiard ball mill, and carry out a trial operation of not less than 72 hours.

(3) The increase of the above load and the length of the test operation time are determined on the basis of the running conditions (temperature rise, noise, tooth surface contact, etc.) of the large and small gears and the gears of the reducer. Before the contact accuracy of the tooth surface does not meet the design requirements, it must not operate at full load.

(4) During the test operation, the cooling and lubrication system should work normally, and the temperature of the main bearing, transmission bearing and reducer should be normal.

(5) After loading 2/3 of the steel balls for 24-48 hours of trial operation, all bolts should be checked and tightened again.

(6) The trial operation work should be carefully recorded.
