200tph Silica Sand Stones Washing and Screening Production Line

The customer for this project owns a quartz mine with a large amount of quartz sand that needs to be washed. However, they had never purchased related washing equipment before. Generally speaking, the equipment for a washing line is relatively conventional and simple.

However, during the communication process, the customer indicated that they need five sizes of finished products: 0–10mm, 10–20mm, 20–60mm, 60–80mm, and 80–180mm, with an overall production capacity of 200 tph. This places high demands on the vibrating screen. We recommended the S5X vibrating screen to the customer, which not only meets their need for high production capacity but also ensures the required screening accuracy

Equipment Advantages-S5X Vibrating Screen

The S5X Vibrating Screen features a robust structure, high screening efficiency, and the ability to be equipped with multiple deck screens. It is suitable for various screening applications including heavy, medium, and fine screening, making it an ideal solution for customer projects requiring high throughput and multiple particle size fractions. Moreover, compared to ordinary vibrating screens such as the YA series vibrating screen, the S5X Vibrating Screen offers many advantages.

Link structure

YA:
The tubular beams inside the screen box are connected to the side plates using a single-tube connection method. Therefore, the strength and load-bearing capacity of the screen box are not as good as those of the S5X model.

S5X:
The tubular beams inside the screen box are welded into a complete frame structure and then connected to the side plates. This increases the strength of the screen box, provides greater load-bearing capacity, and makes it less prone to deformation.

Vibrator

YA:
1. Excitation force: 2.7–3.0 G
2.Bearings: 1 bearing on each side of the screen box, 2 bearings in total
3.Rotational speed: 730–970 RPM
4.Double amplitude: 6–8 mm

S5X:
1. The S5X Vibrating Screen is equipped with a modular SV vibrator (exciter), achieving a vibration intensity of up to 4.2G. Its screening efficiency is 30% higher than that of traditional YA vibrating screens.
2. Equipped with 4 or 8 bearings.
3. Rotational speed: 800–900 RPM
4. Double amplitude: 7–12 mm

Connection type

YA:
The YA series uses V-belts to connect the motor, vibrator , pulley, and drive shaft. During operation, the motor also generates vibration.

 

S5X:
The S5X series uses a flexible coupling to connect the motor, vibrator, and drive shaft, with no axial force transmission, resulting in smoother vibration. During operation, the motor does not vibrate. Therefore, this flexible coupling protects the motor from impact and prevents it from being affected by the screen’s vibration.

Support method

YA:
The YA vibrating screen uses metal springs for support. These have a shorter service life, poor corrosion resistance, less stable vibration during start-up and shutdown, higher noise levels, and greater impact on the foundation.

S5X:
The S5X vibrating screen uses rubber springs for support. Compared with metal springs, they offer a longer service life, better corrosion resistance, smoother vibration during start-up and shutdown, lower noise levels, and less impact on the foundation.

Protective cover

YA:
Protective covers for the motor, V-belts, vibrator , etc., are not included as standard equipment.

S5X:
Equipped with protective covers for the motor, V-belts, vibrator (exciter), etc., providing better protection.

MR Design

Equipment Delivery

This production line involves a wide variety of equipment. MR has customized specific container loading solutions for different types of equipment.
For the belt conveyor: the belt, rollers, and support structure are packed separately, which saves space and prevents component deformation.
For the trommel : a flat rack container is used, and the equipment is fully covered with a waterproof tarpaulin to effectively protect it from rain and moisture during ocean transportation.
For the motor and other precision components: they are all packed in wooden cases with anti-rust and moisture-proof treatment.
In addition, a full-process photo record is taken during the loading of all equipment. Before sealing the container, MR’s staff checks the loading again according to the packing list, ensuring the smooth delivery of the goods to the greatest extent.

Customer Feedback

Before making the purchase, the customer of this quartz sand washing line visited MR’s factory for equipment evaluation.

During the factory visit, MR’s staff warmly welcomed the customer and explained the advantages of the S5X vibrating screen: ideal for high capacity and multiple screening sizes. To address the challenge of screen clogging with fine sand (0–10 mm), MR also provided anti-clogging screen configuration recommendations.

These professional recommendations and dedicated service attitude gave the customer great confidence in their project.
