12tph Raymond Mill for Grinding Barite
This customer has abundant barite reserves. Before knowing MR, they already used a Raymond mill, but it frequently broke down, causing production interruptions. MR helped the customer analyze the causes of these issues and provided reliable solutions, leading them to purchase a new barite grinding line with a capacity of 12 tons per hour.

Problems & Solutions
Before purchasing our Raymond mill, the customer operated equipment from other brands, facing recurring issues that affected their productivity.
Customer Problem
MR Solution
The pipe connecting the cyclone to the main unit of the mill kept getting punctured, causing material leakage.
Barite has a density of 4.5 g/cm³ and a Mohs hardness of 3 to 3.5. Among non-metallic minerals, it has high abrasiveness.
We reinforced the pipes with an internal lining of wear-resistant ceramic plates. This additional shielding significantly increases the service life of the ducts, withstanding the continuous impact of barite dust.
The fan frequently got clogged, stopping the airflow and production.
The project is located at 2,500 meters above sea level (masl). At high altitudes, the lower air density affects pneumatic performance.
We redesigned the ventilation system by installing a higher-capacity fan, with increased pressure and air volume. Additionally, we equipped the system with special motors for high altitude, ensuring stable operation without blockages in mountain conditions.
Parts Shortage
We have a spare parts warehouse in Latin America with stock available for main components such as rollers, rings, blades, and blade holders. Customers can obtain accessories at any time as needed. MR’s spare parts sales policy:
- Quotation within 1 hour after receiving the request.
- Immediate availability after payment.
- If the customer cannot pick up from the warehouse, shipment is completed within a maximum of 1 business day after payment confirmation.
- Issuance of invoice with local VAT within 1 business day after delivery.
We have permanent resident engineers in Latin America. MR’s after-sales service policy:
- Initial response within a maximum of 10 minutes after customer report.
- Technical proposal within a maximum of 12 hours.
- If necessary, our engineers arrive at the customer’s plant within a maximum of 72 hours.
Equipment Delivery
The complete production line system dispatched this time consists of high-performance main and peripheral equipment, including: jaw crusher, bucket elevator, raw material hopper, belt feeder, MGW138 Raymond mill main unit, classifier, and pulse dust collector.
