After the large calcium oxide stones are broken into small pieces by the jaw crusher, it will enter the bucket elevator, which will transport the small calcium oxide pieces to the belt feeder, and the belt feeder will transport the small calcium oxide pieces to the Raymond mill for grinding.

Calcium Oxide Raymond Mill Production Plant — Grinding Process

The main grinding machine is composed of classifier, grinding roller, grinding ring, grinding roller hanger, blade, blade seat, bevel gear and curved air duct, etc. After the small pieces of calcium oxide enter the mill, they will fall on the circular liner with grinding roller, grinding ring and blade seat. The high-speed rotating grinding roller and grinding ring will grind the small pieces of calcium oxide into powder, and the powder will be brought to the powder selector by the rising air flow inside the mill. The classifier will classify the powder. The powder that meets the particle size requirements will enter the pipeline through the classifier and then fall into the cyclone to form the finished product. The powder that does not meet the particle size requirements can not pass through the classifiser and will fall back onto the circular liner, be scooped up by the blade, and continue to be ground by the grinding roller and grinding ring.

The cyclone and pulse dust collector are mainly used to collect the ground calcium oxide powder. Most of the final powder will enter the pulse dust collector, and a small amount of finished powder will enter the cyclone. Then the powder will be conveyed to the elevator through a screw conveyor and then enters a large final product tank.

Calcium oxide, commonly known as quicklime, is a white or grayish white solid with strong water absorption. It can react with rainwater to produce calcium hydroxide and release a large amount of heat. Its uses are as follows:
