Operating Principle

Feeding

The material is fed continuously and uniformly into the ball mill through a feeding device (such as a screw feeder) from the hollow trunnion at one end. The centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the cylinder carries the material to the working zone, preparing it for grinding.

Grinding

The rotation of the cylinder drives the steel balls (or grinding media) inside. The steel balls, lifted to a certain height by centrifugal force, fall or slide, generating a strong impact, collision, and grinding effect on the material, causing its continuous decomposition and refining.

Discharge

The ground material, driven by the continuous feed, moves to the other end of the cylinder. The powder that has reached the required fineness is discharged through the screen or sieve into the hollow trunnion at the other end, thus completing the entire grinding process.
